Once every four years the Oregon coastlines of Coos Bay and
North Bend host the Festival of Sail and this year we’re excited to be a real
part of it! The fun starts TODAY, Thursday, June 1st and runs until
Sunday, June 4th. Please come and find us at our booth!
If this event is news to you, let us tell you that it
features ship tours of what they’re calling “the grandest ships of yore”, day
sails, educational programming, lots to eat and drink (Beer Garden for the
adults – woo hoo!) and live entertainment. There will be music, magic and
exciting pirate acts. Bring your whole family and your friends. And what you
won’t be able to miss is The World’s Largest Rubber Duck! Go ahead and put a
smile on all of those faces.

Our own Margery Whitmer will be delighted to tell you about
what we’re offering at Betty Kay Charters this season when you stop into our
vendor booth to say hello. We’ll take you out for ocean fishing and can just
about guarantee that you’ll come back in with fish that’s practically begging
to be cooked! We have great and friendly Captains, and we’ll make sure you get
your safety instructions and are comfortable on the water. You can book your
expedition with Margery or later online. We’re getting ready to go out for
tuna. You do know it doesn’t just come in cans, don’t you?
